Three pathogenic bacteria (Listeria monocytogenes 1/2a, Salmonella enteridites 193/95, Escherichia coli O157:H7) and twenty-fi ve colonies, isolated from animal faeces, belonging to the following groups Enterococcus, Lactobacillus, Clostridium, Bacteroides and Enterobacteriaceae, were used as indicator microorganisms. The results showed that E. faecium CRL 183 and L. helveticus ssp jugurti 416 did not produce signifi cant antimicrobial activity against the indicator microorganisms tested. More tests needed to be carried out with other indicator bacteria and other culture media to confi rm the lack of antimicrobial production. </p>http://serv-bib.fcfar.unesp.br/seer/index.php/alimentos/article/view/121Enterococcus faecium CRL 183Lactobacillus helveticus ssp jugurti 416antimicrobial compoundssubstancias antimicrobiana. |
