Especially for children with ADHD who suffer from academic and social/emotional issues. The purpose of this systematic review was to describe the types, contents and outcomes of intervention programs implemented in elementary schools aiming at children with ADHD. A search of articles evaluating such intervention programs was made in four databases (ERIC, CINAHL, PsycINFO and Medline) that ended up in 407 hits, resulting in nine articles included in the analysis. Intervention programs described in these articles covered a variety of different types and contents, addressing either directly to children with ADHD or the teachers. These were categorized in order to be analyzed more clearly and thoroughly. Most of them resulted in successful outcomes that contributed to the improvement of children’s ADHD symptoms as well as their academic and social performance.  Student thesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesistexthttp://urn.kb.se/resolve?urn=urn:nbn:se:hj:diva-54689Dissertation.
