The reactions of (n⁵-C₅H₅)Cr (CO)₂ (NO) with halogens result in either (n⁵-C₅H₅)Cr (CO)₂X (NO) (X=C1 or Br) or [(n⁵-C₅H₅)Cr (NO)I]₂.
