Method: A Quasi-experimental design was utilized. Nineteen subjects were assigned into experimental group and thirteen subjects were assigned into control group. Statistical analyses included independent samples t-test, analysis of covariance, one sample t-test, and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient. Result: The experimental group showed a significant improvement in exercise cognition, exercise attitude, and exercise behavior. There is no direct correlation among the three. The research showed that Health Matters Promotion Program has a significant effect on the improvement of exercise cognition, exercise attitude, and exercise behavior in special education school students.
