Participants included 18 students in the seventh grade of a middle. The two units taught in this study were “How Animals Get Nutrients" and "The Circulatory System of Animal and the Circulatory System of Human". The content in these two units was first taught by the teacher through lectures , and then the students played the board game. The results of this study were as follows. First, the integration of board games into the teaching of sciences can improve the students' understanding of the concepts of "circulatory system of animal and the circulatory system of human." Second, the integration of board games into the teaching of sciences a enhanced the students' concept mapping. Thrid, the integration of board games enhanced the students' positive cognitive engagement and positive emotional engagement; however, it also led to negative emotional engagement perhaps due to competition. 李文瑜 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 109 zh-TW |
