Summary: | 碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 公共事務學系碩士班 === 107 === There are four purposes of this study, first we explore the impact of civil servants’ organizational identity on social support, collective efficacy, job burnout and job stress. Secondly, this study examines the relationship between social support, job satisfaction and job burnout. Thirdly, we explore the impact of job stress and collective efficacy on job burnout. Finally, this study explores whether social support and collective efficacy mediate the relationship between organizational identity and job burnout. The results of this study can be used as a reference for improvement of human resources management in the public sector. It is important that government need to enhance civil servants’ organizational identity, social support, collective efficacy and job satisfaction, and at the same time to reduce job stress and job burnout.
This study adopts literature review and questionnaire survey method conducted with a convenience sampling form civil servants who are worked in the administrative departments of Taipei City, New Taipei City and Taoyuan City. The investigation period is from January 30, 2019 to March 8, 2019, 332 valid samples were obtained and analyzed by statistical software SPSS. After statistical analysis, the following conclusions are summarized: (1) Organizational identity had a positive impact on social support and collective efficacy for civil servants, also had a negative impact on job stress and job burnout; (2) Social support had a positive impact on job satisfaction for civil servants, also had a negative impact on job burnout; (3) Job satisfaction and collective efficacy had a negative impact on job burnout for civil servants; (4) Job stress had a positive impact on job burnout for civil servants; (5) Social support and collective efficacy partially mediate the relationship between civil servants’ organizational identity and job burnout.
