Description
Summary:碩士 === 正修科技大學 === 休閒與運動管理所 === 107 === Background: The training quality of a 200-meter freestyle swimming is generally higher. Therefore, the intervention of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) mode is the better strategy to enhance the training of endurance. Objective: To investigate the effect of 2-week HIIT intervention on the swimming performance and physiological regulation of 200-meter freestyle swimming. Methods: 5 adolescent swimmers (age 17 (1.58)y/o, height 169.4 (4.22) cm, weight 67.4 (7.54) kg, Exercise age over 5 years) were recruited. We performed 8 times swimming HIIT in 2 weeks. Before and after HIIT experimental swimming protocol, we recorded changes in 200-meter freestyle results, heart rate, blood lactate concentration, and heart rate variability. Results: (1) No significant changes were found on heart rate variability after HIIT (p>0.05). (2) There was no significant difference in 200-meter freestyle performance, blood lactate concentration and heart rate after HIIT (p>0.05), but all showed an increasing trend. (3) After 2 weeks of HIIT, 200-meter freestyle swimming segmentations showed effectively reduce the heart rate performance significantly and improve the tolerance of lactate (p<0.05). Conclusion: The 2-week HIIT could effectively improve the cardiopulmonary fitness and exercise tolerance of 200 meters freestyle swimming.
