This study was to increase the efficiency of full-time counseling teacher in the group counseling and improve self-efficacy throughout the teachers counseling role. This is to help facilitate and improve the effectiveness of the group counseling. This research adopts qualitative research approach, inviting 5 full-time counseling teachers to participate in, and using a semi-structured interview to collect the data. The major findings of this research are described as follows: 1. The full-time counseling teachers need to meet the core goals of the communication and interpersonal interactions, and designed a variety of communication skills and activities. 2. The full-time counseling teachers must check and incorporate the schools unique learning environment. Awareness of the schools unique environment will enable the full-time counseling teacher to select the appropriate timing to run the group counseling. 3. The full-time counseling teachers must promote correct counseling concept, and multifaceted ways are helpful to attract members’ participation. 4. The full-time counseling teachers act as leader of the counseling group. This leadership is emphasized through book reading, data collection, supervised study and professional development, and strengthen the involvement of catalytic and demonstration techniques, and fosters a resilient, tolerant and stable personality. 5. The conflict is often an opportunity for the interpersonal problems solving in the group counseling, and generalize to the similar situation of daily life. 6. The schools, parents and social resources are vital in order to help maintain the process and promote the importance of the counselors work. In conclusion, based on the results of the study, the authors discussed and analyzed which methodology would be most appropriate and needed for future research.
