In fact, IP economics is not an innovative concept. The most representative manga industry in Japan has established a complete value chain. When manga went from books to television screens, radio stations, movie theaters, even to figures, the scenes appeared in front of us, manga were no longer manga. With the combination of different industries and technology applications, a unique value chain was established. The manga industry has brought about an astonishing cultural output value. In order to continue the life of the manga, Japanese publishing have used their ability in the value chain to present the manga in front of the readers in different ways. The exhibition is also one of them. At certain times and places, the manga are taken from the books. Move to the real world and let readers have different experiences. While Taiwan’s middle-aged, young people, and adolescents under the age of 50 are more or less exposed to Japanese manga in the process of growing up, many of these classics are accompanied by them. Therefore, these characters jumped from the book to reality, they also evoke their childhood memories. This study aims to use the manga text as an example to discuss how the manga adaptation of the exhibition is authorized to come to Taiwan, and what indicators are used by Taiwan’s curators as the basis for the assessment, and further outlines the flow of the entire agency and negotiations with the authorized parties. Moreover, Taiwanese curators have played an important role in the entire production and value chain as an intermediary between the upstream authorizer and the downstream manufacturer. Through in-depth interviews to explore the exhibition's licensing methods and links to the value chain, created a business model for agency authorization, hoping to provide them with future intentional agents, or for companies that want to plan their own exhibitions for reference.
