A case study was employed to understand the change of oral narrative skills of a child with autism spectrum disorders(ASD) during and after the intervention through data collected from teaching videos, video and audio recordings, interviews, peer responses, and other related materials. Overall, the results are as follows: 1. Intervention of board games integrated into picture books teaching could increase the oral narrative skills of children with ASD. 2. Intervention of board games integrated into picture books teaching could make notable improvement in the social and communicative behavior of childen with ASD. 3. Intervention of board games integrated into picture books teaching could boost the self-confidence and learning motivation of children with ASD. In conclusion, the results of present study support use of this intervention to change oral narrative and social skills of children with ASD..
