No. 9 brown rice from the Taiwan Terrier was a germination test sample. The rice and tap water were treated with a positive pulse discharge plasma for 1 minute each. The experimental groups were plasma rice + plasma water, plasma rice + untreated water, untreated rice + electricity. Pulp, non-plasma-treated brown rice and tap water were used as a control group and incubated at room temperature for 12, 18, and 24 hours to investigate the effect of plasma on germination rate, germination length, and starch liquefaction enzyme activity of brown rice. The results of water quality measurement showed a significant increase in nitrite, nitrate, total hardness, hydrogen peroxide, and chlorine dioxide. The germination rate also increased after plasma treatment. The results of the plasma + plasma water test group were the most significant. The 12-hour germination rate increased from 26.7% to 42.7% in the control group, but the shoot length and starch liquefaction enzyme There were no significant differences in the results of the experiments. From the experimental results, it can be found that the positive pulse discharge plasma treatment water quality can effectively increase the active material of water, thereby promoting the germination ability of brown rice, and it can be applied to the production and development of other crops with high functional products in the future.
