It mainly describes the difficulties and solutions that researchers encountered in kindergarten teaching practice, and the way how to use the teaching mode strategies of self-directed learning to enhance children's mathematics learning effectiveness. This research adopts the action research, taking 30 children in public kindergarten served by the researcher as the sample, which is the problem solving method proposed by the researchers in the face of their own mathematics teaching situation. This study is divided into three steps. First, the researcher created a self-directed learning teaching mode based on the 10 year’s self-directed learning research. Second, the researcher improved children’s mathematics learning effectiveness from self-learning teaching mode. Finally, the researcher analyzed the professional growth of teachers in the self-learning teaching mode of the cooperative partners in this study. The study obtains six conclusions: 1. Innovative teaching promotes children's creative thinking and self-directed learning ability. 2. Innovative teaching can enhance children's problem-solving ability. 3. Action research promotes kindergarten featured courses. 4. Action research promotes teacher’s self-reflection 5. Positive attitude toward education reform promotes teachers’ professional growth. 6. The implementation of the self-directed learning teaching mode promotes the professional development of teachers in teaching innovation, action research and teaching effectiveness. This study proposes the following suggestions:1.The teaching patterns, trans formations movement, balance and relationships will be adopted into the teaching modes and process of the self-regulated learning. 2. Self-directed learning strategies should be based on the children’s prior learning experience. 3. Action research should carry out periodic and continuous researches. 4. Cooperative partners should conduct teaching reflection. 5.Teachers should have systematic self-education and participate in the teaching researches of other teachers. 6. Teachers should boldly try to use new teaching modes, be brave about teaching methods changes, practice educational action research, and publish academic papers on research results.
