At the same time, encouraging people to enjoy life with family and promoting the will to give birth to more children became concerning issues worldwide. Hence, family-friendly policy started to develop all over the world. Numerous domestic and foreign studies showed that family-friendly policy did have a positive effect on organizational commitment. One was because the policy could help employees get through an unstable state of the family; on the other hand, the policy might influence the attitudes of coworkers and employers, and thus affect the employees’ sense of belonging and the will to stay at work. This article adopted qualitative analysis to investigate the process of how family-friendly policy influenced organizational commitment. By using literature analysis, participant observation, and interviews with an employer, employees, customers, and a government agent to collect information, the study proposed suggestions based on the findings. The result showed that the scale of an organization and the employers’ attitudes affected how the policy was implemented. In addition, team leaders who decided how to execute the policy might play a greater role in family-friendly policy than employers. In conclusion, it still need more discussion and examination to fulfill the idea of accountability and gender equality. A-Ron Liu 劉阿榮 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 212 zh-TW
