The research surveys participants with questionnaires and analyzes the differences of teachers’perceptions based on different backgrounds. The study also investigates its predictability and examines the relationship between the two variables (perceived administrative innovation and well-being). According to the research, suggestions are proposed to improve the teachers’ well-being and the further research as well. The subjects of this research are regular teachers of public elementary schools in central Taiwan. They are recruited by sampling from public elementary schools in Nantou County. Over 400 interviewees from 66 schools filled the questionnaire. Data taken from 363 valid questionnaires are also analyzed with statistical techniques such as descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and the stepwise multiple regression analysis. The conclusions of this study are as followed: 1. The perceptions of elementary teachers toward administrative innovation are above average. 2. The perceptions of elementary teachers toward their well-being are above average. 3. The perception of elementary teachers toward administrative innovation are varied due to gender, age, educational background, years of service, seniority, teacher’s duty, school area, and the size of school. 4. The perception of elementary teachers towards their well-being are varied due to gender, educational background, seniority, teacher’s duty, school area, and the size of school. 5. The administrative innovation perceived by teachers correlated positively to their well-being. 6. The administrative innovation perceived by teachers could properly predict their well-being. Finally, suggestions based on the results provide references for further studies to educational administrative organizations, educators in elementary school and future researchers.
