Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 教育學系研究所 === 105 === The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between daily student incivility and daily teacher burnout and the moderating effect on teacher self-efficacy in student incivility to teacher burnout. In this study, 85 effective questionnaires with 850 observations across 10 working days were collected. Hierarchical Linear Model of the diary method was used to analyze the longitudinal data which contain intra and inter levels. The findings of this study are as follows: 1. The teachers with different background variables (gender, age, marital status, level of education, job tenure, job position, teach grade, health status) are no statistically significant differences in teacher’s daily burnout. 2. Teacher’s daily mood is statistically significant influence on teacher's daily burnout. 3. Student’s daily incivility is statistically significant effect on teacher's daily burnout. 4. Teacher self-efficacy is no statistically significant impact on teacher's daily burnout. 5. Teacher self-efficacy did not have moderating effect on the relationship between student’s daily incivility and teacher's daily burnout . Based on the findings, the researcher provides important theoretical and practical implications.
