Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 公共政策研究所 === 105 === The main purpose of this study was to explore the relationship of working stress, working achievement and working performance in junior high school teachers. The subjects were 313 junior high school teachers drawn from Taichung City. The “Working Stress Scale” (WSS), the “Working Achievement Scale” (WAS), and the “Working Performance Scale” (WPS) were conducted. The main findings were as follows:
1. Junior high school teachers possessed an average level of working stress.
2. There were significant differences in WSS scores among senior high school teachers of different age, different teaching experience, different administration working experience and different school size.
3. Junior high school teachers possessed an above average level of working achievement.
4. There were significant differences in WAS scores among senior high school teachers of different teaching experience, different administration working experience and different school size.
5. Junior high school teachers possessed an above average level of working performance.
6. There were significant negative correlations between WSS scores and WAS scores.
7. There were significant negative correlations between WSS scores and WPS scores.
8. There were significant positive correlations between WAS scores and WPS scores.
9. WSS and WAS accounted for 73.2% of total variance in WPS.
