Summary: | 碩士 === 中華大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 105 === The study utilizes questionnaire surveys and applies Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior (DTPB) to analyze the willinges and factors affecting teachers to use mobile device intergration in their teachings. The research tool use is questionnaire “A Study of the Willingness of Teachers Using Mobile Device Integration” redesigned from relevant literature review. The study results will be provided as reference to the relevant educational department for promoting “Application of Mobile Device Integrated Instruction.”
The study subjects comprises of teachers from three major public elementary schools (schools with more than 48 classes) from New Taipei City. A total of 350 questionnaires were issued and 282 valid questionnaires were recovered. The study applied SPSS software to conduct statistical analysis using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple regression analysis. The results yielded show that intent for New Taipei City elementary school teachers to use mobile device integration falls on the upper medium level.
With regards to the analysis on factors affecting teachers with different background variables to use mobile device integration, teachers of different gender show significant difference in usefulness, compatibility, subjective specification, computer self-efficacy of implementing mobile device integraion. Teachers of different ages show significant difference in compatibility, subjective specification and computer self-efficacy of implementing mobile device integration. Teachers of different majors of study show significant difference in compatibility and computer self-efficacy of implementing mobile device integrtion. Teachers of different teaching seniority also show significant difference in subjective specification of implementing mobile device integration. Teachers of different responsibilities show significant difference in computer self-efficacy of implementing mobile device integration. Teachers’ background does not show difference in the factor of accessibility. The analysis on the six factors affecting user intent based on Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior suggests that there is a positive correlation between usefulness, accessibility and compatibility of attitude, subjective specification, computer self-efficacy of perceived behavioral control, resource technology assistance, and the user intent to adopt mobile device integrated instruction.
Findings of further multiple regression analysis show that the usefulness of attitude, computer self-efficacy of perceived behavior, and resource technology assistance have 43.7% predictability on the intent for teachers to adopt mobile device integration.
