Using teamwork to complete the task, relationship between the team leader and members of the team became a focus of research. So, the purpose of this research is going to investigate how ambidextrous team leadership influence team performance through team process. And how the relationship between team process and team performance can be moderated by team development stages. The study use questionnaire survey, and 70 teams data were returned from teams of new product development. According the analysis, opening leader behavior is positively related to group empowerment and closing leader behavior is positively related to problem solving. There are partial mediating effects of team process on the relationship between ambidextrous leader style and team performance. The relationship between team process and team performance is moderated by development stages. The conclusions offered above may serve as references materials for managers in companies, team leaders and scholars in any relevant fields.
