Attention to the diet idea about organic ingredients, light meals, free of additives etc. The gradually rising trend in cooking situations, people start cooking by themselves. There is sensory and equipment mutually corresponding each other in the process from preparation to finish the meal. According to the situation of cooking, try to find out the problems and inconveniences for creating more useful kitchen appliances.
In the beginning of this thesis, discuss the sensory through cooking process. Because of the stimulation of the other sensory, the memory of experiences and situations will be aroused probably. On the basis of culinary trend, mention about ingredients, equipments, cooking techniques, and stored preferences. From the life experiences and emotional design as the main purpose, and analysis of existing relevant examples summarized in four types, named (1) science and technology used (2) materials used (3) changing forms (4) sensory stimulation.
In the experimental works, observe the process of cooking and find out the problems of using equipment. Adding the other sensory for support and develop the new concepts for each type. The later stage talked about representative works, which focus on “changing forms” and basis on user experiences in small space. Finally, representative works will be line with modern trends, and close to the users' needs Hoping provides users with more convenient kitchen appliances.
