Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 教育學系科技發展與傳播碩士班 === 104 === The study investigates that Digital Social Curriculum impacts the emotional and behavioral adjustment of an elementary school student with Autism. The research utilize case study methods. The subject is an elementary school 5th grader with Autism in the regular class accepting special education. She accepted 2 periods of Digital Social Curriculum intergrating teaching every week for ten weeks, totally 20 periods. That investigates the effect of the four aspects ‘Prediction of Emotion,’ ‘Prediction of Behavior from Emotion,’ ‘Prediction of Results from Behavior,’ and ‘Responsibility for the actions of choice’ of the student in emotional and behavioral adjustment. Every class the researcher not only recorded and observed the teaching but also used qualitative reserch methodology through interviewing tutors, parents and the peers, as well as the related assessments making the quantitative analysis from the related assessment data.
The study outcome was reported:
1. Digital Social Curriculum can improve the abilities of an elementary school student with Autism in the emotional and behavioral adjustment.
2. Digital Social Curriculum can increase the abilities of an elementary school student with Autism in ‘Prediction of Emotion,’ ‘Prediction of Behavior from Emotion,’ ‘Prediction of Results from Behavior,’ and ‘Responsibility for the actions of choice’.
3. Parents, tutors and the peers can elevate the learning transfer effect in the emotional and behavioral adjustment of an elementary school student with Autism.
