The study combined mathematical writing with the school curriculums of geometry unit, used triangulatioon to explore developments of the student’s concepts of geometry by collecting student’s pre-test, learning sheets, post-test, the researcher’s teaching journal of self-reflections and recording of teaching. The following conclusions are summarized.1. Before mathematical writing students had misconceptions of geometry unit. 2. mathematical writing helps the researcher realize students’ understanding of learning the concepts of “geometry unit.” 3. All the students participating in the study have positive and supporting attitude toward this mathematical writing activity, believing it can help mathematics learning. 4. By discussing students can find different problem-solving methods. 5. Students are good in algebraic proof more than geometry proof. Key words: learning situations, mathematical writing, problem-solving performance, geometry unit Chen Yen Ting 陳彥廷 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 191 zh-TW
