Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 教師專業碩士學位學程 === 104 === The main purpose of this research was to investigate the teaching design of questioning strategy applied to summarizing narration, and the effectiveness of questioning strategy on summarizing narration for elementary school fifth-graders. Futhermore, this research also aimed to find out the difficulties and solutions the researcher encountered during the procedure of questioning strategy applied to summarizing instruction, and the
researcher’s self-growth.
This study adopted action research method. The research objects were 20
fifth-grade students of Xing-Fu elementary school. The researcher had carried out the
courses for 10 weeks. Data collections included observation, worksheet, interviews with
students, feedback of students during the whole research process. The results were
presented as below:
1.The teaching design of questioning strategy applied to summarizing narration was a feasible teaching program.
2.questioning strategy was helpful to enhanced the ability of summarizing narration for elementary school fifth-graders.
3.The teaching activity of questioning strategy applied to summarizing narration could promote teacher’s reflection and enhanced the professional ability.
(1)The teacher could promote professional skills of teaching through the teaching process of questioning strategy applied to summarizing narration.
(2)The teacher adjusted the tool of research through the teaching process could closer to student’s learning style and thought.
(3)Often discussing with experienced teachers and students could inspire the teacher multiple teaching ideas.
Finally, suggestions regarding method of teaching and research in the future were
made based on the study’s conclusion.
