The purpose of this study is to investigate the elementary students referred for occupational needs in Pin-Tong County to understand the visual motor integration and the school function and the correlation. The subjects of this research were 62 elementary students in the 102 School Year received occupational therapy service, research tools adopted Beery-Buktenica Developmental Test of Visual-Motor Integration (VMI) and School Function Assessment (SFA). Descriptive statistics and data derivation is performed by single sample t test, 2-way ANOVA and Pearson's correlation analysis. The results of this study are summarized as follows: (A) Visual motor integration of the elementary school students referred for occupational needs fell behind the same age group. (B) The school function of the elementary school students referred for occupational needs are worse than the same age group. (C) The correlation of visual motor integration and the school function is significant in writing activities and work/activities behavior.
