The alternating treatments design of single case experimental design was employed in this study. Using TTS software – TextAloud examined the reading effectiveness for the Chinese and Social courses. The results of this study were summarized as follows: 1. Using the TTS for the elementary school student with dyslexia in the Chinese and Social courses had improvement. 2. Using the TTS for the elementary school student with dyslexia in the scores of Chinese and Social courses had increased significantly. 3. Using the TTS for the elementary school student with dyslexia still have some limitations, such as the program can’t pronounced special symbols and homograph sounds.
