Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 幼兒教育學系 === 104 === The purpose of the study was to explore aboriginal children’s learning styles from their live experiences and to arrange the appropriateness of activity curriculum-an example of thematic teaching in a aboriginal preschool. Qualitative research method was adopted. Subjects were selected by purposive sampling in Hualien. Data collection included in-depth, interviews, observations, and teaching journals. Findings were as follows: 1.The learning styles of these aboriginal children included: to be preferable to be active, to like dynamic learning performance, to tend to cooperate by team, to concentrate on operate physical materials, and to be good at observing and imitating. 2.Teacher could plan the appropriate time table of the preschool according to aboriginal children’s needs, live experiences, and learning styles. 3.Teacher could design the appropriateness of activity curriculum based on aboriginal children’s live experiences and learning styles. 4.The appropriateness of activity curriculum could affect the abilities of aboriginal children and teachers’ teaching. Some suggestions were proposed for preschool educators and doing studies in the future.
