Summary: | 碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 104 === The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the correlation between positive discipline, empathy and teacher-student relationship for elementary school teachers in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City. This study was adopted questionnaire survey. The elementary school teachers in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City are the object of this study andthere are 215 effective samples in total.All the returned questionnaire data have been analyzed through statistics methods, such as the average, the standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Post Hocand Pearson correlation through SPSS 18.0 for Windows. Then some major findings summarized as follows:
1. The current performance of elementary school teachers’ positive discipline is good in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City. The performance is considered as high degree. Moreover, “establishing reasonable standard of discipline” is the highest among all.
2. The teachers’ cognition of teacher-student relationship in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City is good. It is considered as in high degree and the direction of learning is the best among all.
3. The consciousness of empathy of elementary school teachers’ empathy in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City is good. It is considered as high degree and the ability of fantasy is the highest among all.
4. There is significant differences of the performance of positive discipline and teacher-student relationship between the position, education level and marital status of the elementary school teachers in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City.
5. There is significant correlation between positive discipline, empathy and teacher-student relationship.
