Summary: | 碩士 === 康寧大學 === 資訊傳播研究所 === 104 === The main of this study was designed to investigate the model of Flipped Classroom Teaching to be used in the visual arts curriculum, and its results of learning effectiveness in this experimental teaching, and learning attitude and reaction among students.
The objects of study are ninth grade students in Tainan. To choose two similar degree classes from these ninth grade students after the implementation of the starting ability test. There are both 27 students in two classes. One was experimental group used teaching model of flipped classroom and the other class was continuing traditional teaching. Before the experiment teaching, both groups have implemented learning attitude scale pretest and experimental teaching for 12 weeks. The learning content was based on the unit “Public Art”.
After the experiment accomplished, all the members of both groups had to complete whole the works of the learning effectiveness test taken, the model works of Public Art achievement on campus, a presentation given in class, and the Post-test of learning Attitude Scale implementation.
Moreover, the students in the experimental group needed to fill in the form of Teaching Feedback Sheet.
After analysing, according to the data obtained and qualitative data, we acquired the following findings.
1. On the learning effectiveness test, there was no significant difference between experimental group and control group.
2. The overall score of Model Works of Public Art in the experimental group was a bit better than the control group, but not very significant.
3. The creativity degree of Model Works of Public Art in the experimental group was significantly better than the control group.
4. The experimental group got a significant better result in the score of the podium presentation than the control group.
5. The numbers of students with the grade of “Excellent “ and “Good” on the segments of Model Works of Public Art achievement & Podium Presentation in the experimental group both were higher than the control group.
6. The test result of the Post-test of learning Attitude Scale in the experimental group was a bit better than the control group, but not very significant.
7. After practicing the Flipped Classroom Teaching Model in the visual arts curriculum course, the learning attitude in experimental group had been promoted significantly.
8. The experimental group had good acceptance for the learning method of flipped classroom, and gave positive affirmation on it.
