Summary: | 碩士 === 中國科技大學 === 土木與防災設計系 === 104 === The construction of Taipei Rapid Transit Systems started in December1998 and the accumulative operation length is 129.2 Km in November 2014. Some sections of tunnel structures may have deteriorated and need to be repaired.
This study focuses on three areas, searching relevant documentations on the tunnel maintaining, participating field inspecting with Macro ArmorEngineering Consultants, and finalizing inspection results and assessments.
Initial stage of the field inspection is carried out by cross-section image scanning and visual inspection. The results of cross-section image scanning show most abnormal tunnel segments are close to cut-and cover tunnel and no immediate impact on operational safety. No significant structural abnormality on tunnel segments is found. The major abnormalities of cut-and-cover tunnel are cracks and seepage. Since the variation of the overburden soil thickness of the river sections in the Bannanline and Zhonghe line is not significant, it is estimated the sedimentation and scouring of the riverbed is not significant.
Based on the results of detailed inspection, the Danshui line has the largest value of the ration of abnormality length to each operational line length, 7.64%. There are 425 sections which safety level is between class II and class III. About 97.6% of all sections are rated safety level I. There is no significant impact on the system, including passengers and vehicles.
Structure analysis is carried out by finite element program SAP2000, using forced displacement method. Racking deformation of 0.002 for static forced displacement used in the previous tunnel design is used in this structure analysis. The analysis results show the stress values are within acceptable range.
