The study used customer-contact employees who worked in the chain service industry of two (or more) stores as the target of study, using a two-phase questionnaire survey to collect data. The data was collected from 90 stores and 329 valid questionnaires. Then, statistical methods such as Descriptive Statistics, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Analysis of Correlation, and Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM) were used in the study. The Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM) was used in the main hypotheses tests to test the relationships among the variables. The verified results of the analysis are shown below: 1. High performance work system has significantly positive influence on employee’s proactive behavior. 2. High performance work system has significantly positive influence on self-efficacy. 3. Self-efficacy has significantly positive influence on employee’s proactive behavior. 4. Self-efficacy has partially mediating effect on the high performance work system and proactive behavior. Based on the results of the study, there are some conclusions and suggestions provided as references in the future study. Keywords: High Performance Work Systems (HPWS), Proactive Behavior, Self-efficacy. HUANG,LIANG-CHIH 黃良志 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 93 zh-TW
