Based on the review of related literature and theory, anger was divided into three dimensions, hostile cognition which as dimension of cognition included cynicism and distrust, anger experience which as dimension of affect included unfairness and personal interests damage, and anger coping style which as dimension of behavior included aggression, positive response, and anger repression. The subjects of this study were drawn from the 2011 Psychological Assessment Corporation’s dataset of Emotional-Anger Rating Scale. The data of 2,306 seventh and eighth graders from Hsinchu City and New Taipei City were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results were as follows: 1.Overall, the scores of junior high school students’ hostile cognition and anger expression were moderate. The scores of aggression in anger coping style was lower than other styles and the scores of anger repression was the heightest. 2.There were significant differences among junior high school students’ hostile cognition, anger experience, and anger coping style within the different background variables. 3.The anger model of junior high school students constructed in this study could be used to explain the empirical observed data well. 4.The results from a directed-effects model showed hostile cognition had an impact on anger experience and anger coping style. 5.The results from a mediated-effects model indicated that anger experience did entail the significant mediated effect of hostile cognition on anger coping style. Based on the results, some suggestions to school counselors and future study are provided in the study. 林蔚芳 2015 學位論文 ; thesis 110 zh-TW |
