The purposes of this study are to explore the relationship between Community Chinese Classics-Reading and parent-child interaction.The major contents are (1) the operating status of community Chineses classics-reading classes (2) the status of different parental and childen background and their parent-child interaction (3) the difference of parent-child interaction on diversified parental and childen background (4) the value of promoting Community Chinese Classics-Reading.
This study uses survey method ,the study subjects are parents of Chong-De Guang-Hui Global Promotion Center for Classical Education in Taipei Area The descriptive statistics、t-test and one-way ANOVA were adopted to analyze the data. The results were described as follows:
(1) Community Chineses classics-reading classes need the participation of parents 、communities and schools to operate properly. Through parent-child reading activities, the value of family education and parent-child interaction were appreciated.
(2)The overall scores of parent-child interaction and it’s other three aspects average scores are all over 3.5, it shows that Chong-De Guang-Hui Community Chineses classics-reading classes have good parent-child interaction.
(3)There are no significanht differences among participants of different parental and childen background.But the behavior interaction of preschool childen are better than high grade students, it shows that parent-child interaction behavior have difference among different grade.
According to the above conclusion, through co-participate of parents and children, Community Chineses classics-reading classes may improve parent-child interaction.
