The Author went through a research to understand the reasons behind the decision of the internationalization, the process, until the outcomes. Cosmostar Ltd. is a Taiwan-based SME that is manufacturing fluid handling equipment. Being the local market leader for several decades, Cosmostar realized the shrinking local market is no longer feasible to maintain the survival of the company. After facing a lot of obstacles, Cosmostar was finally pursuing international business. Slowly but sure, Cosmostar tried to figure out its position in the industry and its core competencies. With those knowledge, Cosmostar carefully implemented suitable international strategies in order to survive the competition.
