The six participants with low achievement in Chinese were in the fourth grade of regular classes of an elementary school in Taichung City. This study used a single subject research alternating treatments designs. The independent variable was the video modeling. The dependent variable was the writing ability of participants in instant effect, maintenance effect. The data collected through the writing rating scale was analyzed by visual analysis. The social validity was analyzed by the questionnaire. The results of this study were as below: 1. Video modeling could improve the writing ability of student with low achievement in Chinese. 2. There is no significant difference in using video modeling to maintain the effectiveness of writing ability to participants. 3. The effects of video modeling to writing ability of the participant accessed to good social validity certainly. The results could provide reference for teachers and researchers.
