Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 數理教育研究所 === 103 === This study focused on the number of elementary school students' performance, position sense, and according to the understanding of different grades of gender differences among students. In this study, Hsinchu City, Miaoli County, nine schools in grades four, five, six students as a study sample of 703 people. Research tools using a questionnaire adapted from number sense test, meaning the number of tests including, computing, computing strategy, the number of reference and rules of number four spindle. The findings of this study, the main findings are as follows: (1) the number of students a sense of student test performance than the United States; (2) the number of students in different grades sense the presence of a significant difference test scores, grades and will increase as more higher and higher; (3) gender differences in the number of students do not have a sense of test performance;
