Its purpose is to improve the relational bullying among 5th graders and explore the challenges and solutions in the action research. By implementing our designed lesson plans, we are able to learn how the project can affect students’ cognition towards relational bullying. Hence, teachers will be acquiring growth and reflection from the process. The research period is from December 2013 to March 2014 , and the 28 objects are 5th graders at Ren Ren elementary school in Taoyuan. After the teaching demonstrations, The qualitative data were collected via teaching, student interviewing, feedback from peer teachers and students. After the qualitative analysis, the data was encoded, analyzed and cross examined. The followings are the results of the research: 1. Utilize multiple teaching tools and activities such as picture books、videos and animations that could effectively strengthen students’motivation. 2. The thinking tool could train students’ critical thinking step by step and the communication skills are reinforced during the group discussions. 3. After the implementation of this lesson plan, students were more aware of the bullying relationships. Those who were bullied realized it's not their own faults and looked for help. Bystanders offered their aids to those who were bullied, whereas those who bullied others learned to reflect and turn over a new leaf. 4. The discussion and the observation with the peer teachers help researchers amend and introspect their research, which better teachers’ professionalism. According to the results of the research, it is strongly suggested that the prevention of relational bullying should be strictly implemented in the daily teaching. The educators are advised to enrich their knowledge in regard to relational bullying.
