Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 環境生物與漁業科學學系 === 102 === Taiwan's coastal fishery resources are facing serious regression, the government has increased its annual stock enhancement of fish fries from 1978, in order to strengthen the resources of natural waters. Since 2002, Taiwan Fisheries Sustainable Development Association has released dozens of species juvenile fishes for ten million annually in recent years. Samples used tagged and released 5 species, 137,268 juvenile fishes of 11 groups in 8 regions from 2012 to 2014 in this study, hoping to have help benefits in release juvenile fishes. The study used Dafu protected area in different periods to observe their behaviors and movement. The Lutjanus argentimaculatus and Epinephelus coioides were maintained for 90 and 47 days, and their mortality rate decreased to very low in 7 and 20 days after released, respectively. Tagged juvenile fishes showed fine adaptation in wild via underwater observations. Mean total lengths and body weights of tagged fishes increased after few months of release based on measurements of recaptured individuals. Stomach contents analysis also indicated that recapture individuals fed like wild populations. In addition, otolith analysis was used to compare farmed with wild individuals in this study. The technique of mass tagging and release juvenile fishes is developed in Taiwan, and could apply to further population growth and migratory ecology studies in the future. And 27 in Taiwan fishermen fishing interviewers conducted to assess juvenile releasing the benefits for fishermen, expectations of juvenile reference discharge policy recommendations.
