Use of functional assessment to understand the behavior of the function, the development of behavior support plan features, as well as to explore the effectiveness of behavior support plan functions. The withdrawal design of a single subject research design was used in this study. The subject were vocational students with moderate and severe mental retardation in special education school. The independent variables was behavior support plan. The dependent variables was the occurrence frequency of aggressive behavior. The researcher collected the data during the baseline, treatment, and maintenan periods, then analyzing them by using visual analysis and effective size. Finally, social validity of data collection. The conclusions were indicated as follows: 1. Implementation of functional assessment in order to get aggressive behaviors function of students with mental retardation. 2. The result of aggressive behavior reduction from the behavioral functional analysis and intervention program to vocational students with mental retardation is significant. 3. The result of positive behavior enhancement from the behavioral functional analysis and intervention program to vocational students with mental retardation is significant. 4. The maintaining result of aggressive behavior reduction from the behavioral functional analysis and intervention program to vocational students with mental retardation is significant. 5. The maintaining result of positive behavior enhancement from the behavioral functional analysis and intervention program to vocational students with mental retardation is significant. 6.
