The purpose of this study aimed to understand the professional development process of participants and their changes. A total of 11 elementary school teachers participated in this study. The qualitative research method was used to collect and analyze interviewing data. Results revealed three main themes: The improvement of reading comprehension knowledge, the awareness of how to teach reading, and teachers’ retrospections and feedbacks. The improvement of reading comprehension knowledge focused on the teachers’ motivation in the PLC, learning strategies, and teaching practice. The awareness of how to teach reading was on the teachers’oral presentation, the feedback form, the observation in teaching, and the sharing of teaching. The last theme was on the teachers’ retrospections, feedbacks and suggestions on the PLC. In the end, implications from the results of this study were discussed.
