Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 國文學系 === 102 === Abstract The paper aims to explore the improvement of students’ writing and learning attitude by the teaching activity which combines the mind maps with fairy tales. The study takes the Action Research and the researcher does the research for the 5th graders in Kaohsiung elementary school. The first semester I take the Traditional Writing Method, and the second semester I take the teaching activity which combines the mind maps with fairy tales. The study takes Works Analysis Method which utilizes the students’ writing works, the feedbacks, the investigation forms and teaching diary to evaluate the students. According to the research I find three conclusions: 1. It’s possible to teach with mind maps for 5th graders. 2. The teaching activity which combines the mind maps with fairy tales can change the students’ learning attitude. 3. The teaching activity which combines the mind maps with fairy tales can improve students’ writing ability and creativity. Keywords: mind maps, the writing of fairy tale, creativity.
