Summary: | 碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 102 === The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of information technology integrated into Geography remedial instruction on the learning achievement for junior high school students at the bottom third. — Exemplified by the location and the scope unit. A quasi-experimental design was used for 40 junior high school students of the third graders in Nantou city. They were conveniently selected based on class. The experimental group was adopted integrating information technology into teaching. The control group was adopted electronic book into teaching.The study evaluates the difference of the learning achievement between the two groups with their post-test scores. In order to understand their comments about the teaching experiment, the experimental group finished the questionnaire.
“The location and the scope achievement test”, and “questionnaire of students’ views” were adopted as instruments of the analysis. Both groups received pre-test and post-test on the geographic academic achievement test. The experimental group filled out the questionnaire after the teaching experiment. After five weeks of experimental teaching, two instruction models were analyzed by SPSS statistical analysis to evaluate the difference between the post-test scores of students in two groups. The data was examined by applying descriptive statistics, t-test and one-way analysis of covariance. The results are as follows:
1. There is significant difference on the post-test score of geographic academic achievement for integrating information technology remedial teaching method.
2. Information technology integrates into the geography remedial teaching can enhance learning attitude and the effectiveness of learning.
3. Most students of the experimental group hold positive opinion toward the information technology integrates into the geography remedial teaching.
