Summary:碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 健康促進與休閒管理碩士在職專班 === 101 === The main purposes of this study are to interview owners/managers of indigenous flavor restaurants and to analyze their perceptions of strategic management in Taitung County, Taiwan. Six owners/managers and six dining customers were interviewed through a purposive and balanced sampling. For understanding strategic management of Taitung indigenous flavor restaurants and their future development, data based on interview were analyzed through the Diamond Model and the Five Forces Model proposed by Porter. The findings showed that there are significantly different perceptions among owners/managers for strategic management of indigenous flavor restaurants. The results suggested that the best-fit strategy can be used by owners/managers of indigenous flavor restaurants in order to promote industrial competitiveness.
