Sampling with the male of head and neck cancer patients, Cross-sectional design of experiments measuring, Study using SPSS statistical software for statistical analysis, including Descriptive statistics, Independent sample t test, Two-way anova analysis and regression analysis. The study results indicate that on the whole, the pros and cons of the message communication effects have a significant impact on cancer patients, and the positive message is significantly higher than the negative message. As for the influence of the degree of fear on the concept acceptance after patients reading the report, the lower degree of fear, the better acceptance to concept, no matter what kinds of the massage they read. If we discussed in the stages of disease, you will find that in the condition of disease early stage with high degree of fear, the acceptance of concept building on negative message are better. On the contrary, the results in late stage are worse than early stage. According to the study, give medical team the following recommendations: While hold the activities of pursue cancer patients to cease smoking, group health education should be presented by positive messages and lower fear as a major strategy to strengthen patients’ willingness to cease smoking. In terms of personal health education, it is advised that if in the early stage of disease they should try to pursue patients by negative messages and the contents of slightly moderate sense of threat; if in the late stage, they should give the most part of positive messages and lower sense of threat.
