Reseacher will explore the differences among teachers of different background on their teaching beliefs and efficacy as well as explore the relationships between both of them. Especially, to further analyze the possibility of predicting teachers’ teaching efficacy based on teachers’ teaching beliefs. In this study, there are 138 elementary teachers in aboriginal areas were surveyed by a self-designed “Questionnaire of teaching beliefs and teaching efficacy of elementary school teachers in aboriginal areas”. The efficient examples are 125. The employed analysis methods were the descriptive statistics, T-test, one-way variance analysis, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, and multiple stepwise regression analysis. According to the result of data analysis, the researcher also interviewed three senior educators in aboriginal elementary school. The conclusions are drawn as follows: 1.Aboriginal regional elementary school teachers’ teaching beliefs would be more inclined to progressive. 2.Aboriginal regional elementary school teachers’ teaching efficacy was on high-middle- level. 3.The significant differences were found on aboriginal regional elementary school teachers’ teaching beliefs by age, educational background and teaching experiences. 4.The significant differences were found on aboriginal regional elementary school teachers’ teaching efficacy by age. 5.Aboriginal regional elementary school teachers’teaching beliefs and teaching efficacy were positively correlated. 6.Aboriginal regional elementary school teachers’teaching efficacy can be predicted by teaching beliefs. Finally, above suggestions were proposed for future studies by administration of education, school administration and aboriginal regional elementary school teachers. 王漢國 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 146 zh-TW
