The study used quasi-experimental method, and had chosen two 3rd grader classes of Department of Computer Science of vocational school in Kaohsiung City. Research variables included the type of teaching strategy (scaffolding teaching vs. traditional teaching). The result of this study analyzed the quantitative data as Descriptive Statistics, Paired-samples T test, and one-way ANOVA. The data result of the analysis concluded that: (1) Applying Scaffolding learning theory could heighten student’s efficiency of learning. (2) Applying Scaffolding learning theory could heighten student’s programming skills. (3) Importing the programming course material based scaffolding to enhance students’ learning motivation.
