The course consisted of the Japanese audio-visual media such as film, animation and Japanese culture material. The data collection method included students' feedback form, self-rating scale, classroom observation, interview record, and the researcher's reflection logs.The main findings and conclusions are as follows: (1) The participants who learned the gender issues program for a semester, have increased their gender awasreness and reduce gender strerotype. (2) The teacher has improved her teachging skill and curriculum design ability for appling the gender issues into the Japanese language course after implementing the action reaseach for a semester.
