Description
Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 教育研究所 === 99 === In this study, I examine my belief as a secondary school teacher to about teacher-student relationship. To improve professional abilities of handling teacher-student conflicts, I found my critical friends from both teachers and students. I appraise myself and reflect my teaching through classroom observations and professional dialogues, which leads me toward teacher professional development. As a self-study, I describe and reflect the progresses and details about how I improve teacher-student relationship from May, 2009 to December, 2009. By the progresses of classroom observation and the reflection of teaching videos, I review teaching by means of special of activities, such as the informal conversational interview, critical events notes and parents surveys. Through this self-study, I had a chance to reflect on teaching and listen to students and other teachers’ thoughts of teaching. Therefore, I can face my own teaching problems and try to solve them, which results in better teacher-student relationship. In the meantime, professional dialogues have become a mechanism for continuous teacher professional development and teaching problem solving as well as the construction of a democratic classroom.
