Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 工業科技教育學系 === 99 === The purpose of this study is to explore the process and the difficulty of students’ using Project-based Learning (PBL) to make class publications and the effects of PBL on class atmosphere and class identification. Both qualitative and quantitative approaches were used in this study. The subjects were two classes of fifth-graders in an elementary school of Kaohsiung. One class, the experiment group, received eight weeks of PBL training, while the other class, the control group, did not. The two groups of students responded to the class atmosphere scale and the class identification scale on a nonequivalent pretest-posttest research design. The videos of classroom observation and the audios interviews of students were also collected. The data were then analyzed by independent and dependent t-tests. The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1. The process of students’ using PBL to make class publications invloves three stages: teaching preparation, project implementation, and wrap-up and reflection. 2. The difficulties of students’ using PBL to make class publications lie in teamwork, the capability of using computer, the ability of data collection and analysis, and the adjustment in mentality. 3. PBL helps improve class atmosphere. 4. PBL helps improve class identification.
