The research tools consist of the Biology Concept Diagnostic Test (BCDT), semi-structured interviews, and cooperation learning questionnaire. The BCDT was used to investigate the difference between cooperative learning and conventional methods. After teaching, the situation of concept change of the students’ blood circulation system was thoroughly discussed and found out with semi-structured interviews, and cooperation learning questionnaire. This study adopted a quasi-experimental design. Four seventh-grade classes were recruited, 2 classes (a total of 59 students) assign to the experimental group under the Student’s Team Achievement Division (STAD) of cooperative learning system, the remaining 2 classes (a total of 74 students) assigned to the control group under the conventional system. The quantitative data were from the BCDT; the qualitative data were from the others. The results from the analysis of the BCDT showed that the experimental group was significantly better than the control group in the aspects of the conceptual change and maintenance (p< .001). The results of the sexual comparison indicated that male and female students’ conceptual change was not remarkably different. Moreover, the results of the semi-structured interviews indicated that the experimental group was better in effects of the conceptual change. However, both groups were not familiar with the blood circulation diagram. According to our study results, we suggest the future teaching methods, research plans, teacher specialized growth, and school administration. 王瑋龍 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
