The planning of game scene is also assisted by using scene editing tools, and then presenting the produced scene through corresponding player. The thesis concentrates on the design and implementation of a scene editor/player for computer game. In the scene playing phase, there are some problems such as the terrain material stretching and the joint problems. The implementation attempts to solve the material stretching problem by splitting terrain block into several pieces before pasting materials. And the gradient transparent material is used to eliminate the joint problems.
