Abstract
This study adopted value chain concept brought up by Porter in 1985 to analyze dimension index of the critical success factors of organic food management. And then, using delphi method and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) as analyzing methods of this study to progressively analyze the weights of relationship between each dimension and evaluation standards and to explore the critical success factors of organic food management.
In this study, put innovation of application in organic food management in value chain and then transfer it into a chain that can create customers’ value. Process of transferring input into output includes increased product values of each activity.
The results shows orders that influencing critical success factors of organic food management are (1) establishment of brand image, (2) market segmentation (making remaining toxins and chemicals in the products to minimum), (3) flawless level for legislating related laws and regulations (4) control of customers’ needs, (5) certified labels from the government, (6) after service. Therefore, in order to manage organic food successfully, we should take above-mentioned critical success factors seriously, and then we can speed up to set into action and have new niche in the new trend of global food security.
